King County International Airport, commonly known as Boeing Field, is a public-use airport situated just south of Seattle's central business district. Established in 1928, it's one of the oldest operating airfields in the United States and was Seattle's primary airport until the opening of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 1944. Boeing Field spans an area of 634 acres (257 ha) and is positioned at an elevation of 21 feet (6 m).

Boeing Field features two primary runways: 14R/32L and 14L/32R. These runways cater to a diverse range of aircraft, from light single-engine planes to large commercial jets. The airfield is equipped with a modern control tower, multiple hangars, a terminal building, and extensive maintenance facilities. It serves a variety of aviation needs, including commercial, cargo, military, and general aviation.
