Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport (IATA: FNC, ICAO: LPMA) is located close to Funchal, the main city of Madeira Island. Known for its challenging approach, the airport features a 2 781-meter-long runway partially extended over the ocean, supported by concrete pillars.
